C'mon, who seriously thought that The Lorax was going to be any good?

I sure as hell didn't.Here are 3 things that set me off, and started putting doubt in my head about this movie. This is the same studio that made Despicable me, which I actually liked. So that's out of the way.

First off, DO NOT CAST Zac Efron and Taylor Swift if you want people who read the book when they were young to take your movie seriously, instead of hyping those 2 talentless hacks (I'm sorry I don't like Taylor Swift) hype up the names like Danny Devito or Ed Helms (You know, one of the dudes who was in THE HANGOVER) or at least Betty White. But then again, this is a Kids movie. Kids don't know who those people are. And maybe I shouldn't list Danny Devito to headline anything kid related, after all he did want to kill that old lady from The Goonies and kill all the first born children in Gotham.

Second off, DO NOT make commercials for a movie that has a Anti-Commercialism theme in it. All week I've seen nothing but IHOP trying to sell me green eggs and ham, and Mazda trying to convince me to buy one of their shitty Eco-friendly cars. Fuck you.

Third off, I am not a goddamn idiot, this was the same company who made live action versions of The Grinch and The Cat in The Hat, neither of which is decent. I will give the Grinch credit, it is a guilty pleasure, but the Cat in The Hat is about as watchable as The love Guru.

That's it for now, I will give a more comprehensive review after I see it on DVD later this year.
