I knew this for quite a while

But if you watch Dragon ball Z when the androids are around.. it’s kind of like The Terminator in a lot of ways..

1. A guy comes from the future (Trunks) and warns another person (Goku) that someone is going to kill you and everything else for that matter.
2. 2 androids (19 and 20) are going after another person (Goku) because it was why they exist; to kill that said person.
3. Trunks kind of looks like Kyle Reese and has the same attitude as him. He says that the future he comes from is horrible is being ruined by the androids, when in the terminator the robots are running the show on Earth.
4. Android 16 is Arnold Schwarzenegger.
5. In the Terminator Judgement day, a more superior android (Cell) comes to destroy things.
6. Trunks changes and saves the future from becoming his timeline’s reality.
7. Kyle Reese dies, and Trunks dies as well (but later revived).
8. Kyle Reese is trained by John Conner, Sarah Connor’s son. Trunks is trained by Gohan.. Goku’s son. They both are taught to just survive.
9. Trunks saves goku’s life by giving him pills for his heart, Kyle Reese saves Sarah Connor.
10. Both series have the same goal when building the androids, to better technology. Both backfired.
